Appointments

What should i wear to an appointment?

At your visit we want you to be comfortable. The goal of chiropractic is to get your body moving like it should, so we ask you wear clothing that doesn't restrict your movement (shorts, T-shirts, sweatpants, etc.). If your clothing is limiting the doctor’s ability to provide proper care, they may ask you change into shorts/gowns provided at the clinic.

should i bring previous medical records, x-rays, or Mri readings?

Yes. It is always best to provide the doctor with the full story of your injury/condition. We will make a copy of these documents for our records and return the originals to you.

what if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?

We understand life does not always go according to plan. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment just give us a call 24 hours in advance at (713) 814-4864.

General chiropractic inquiries

what is chiropractic care?

“Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on the relationship between the body's structure, mainly the spine, and its function. Although practitioners may use a variety of treatment approaches, they primarily perform adjustments (manipulations) to the spine or other parts of the body with the goal of correcting alignment problems, alleviating pain, improving function, and supporting the body's natural ability to heal itself.”  – National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, a division of the National Institutes of Health.

In short, chiropractic care is the placement of safe and specific force, through a joint, to restore normal motion. Normal motion in a joint segment will decrease stress on the surrounding structures, decrease muscle tightness, decrease irritation on nerves, and ultimately decrease pain.

why should i choose chiropractic care?

Chiropractic is a safe and effective way of treating musculoskeletal pain including, but not limited to, back pain, neck pain, pain in the extremities and much more. Give us a call today, you have nothing to lose but your pain.

Does everyone have to get adjusted at their visit?

No. There are several cases when an adjustment is not needed. At your first visit, the doctor will do a thorough exam to better understand your specific diagnosis. The doctor will recommend their treatment plan and explain why the proposed treatments will help with your condition. However, the patient is always in charge. If you do not want a certain treatment, let your doctor know.
