*New this year is the addition of the Runday Funday kids mile prior to the start of the 5K.Runday Funday has its own event on this page for more information*

Location: The race is on the White Oak Bayou Hike and Bike Trail section between the UofH Downtown and Stude Park. The course starts on the trail by the UofH Downtown and is an out and back with a water stop at the turn around point. The course is USATF certified and professional chip timing is provided.

Parking/Restrooms: Parking is available in the UofH Downtown Bayou Student Lot accessed via Naylor Street. You can also park in the Girard St. parking lot. This is a City of Houston lot and it is free to park on Sundays. The trail is easily accessible via this lot and you will enter the trail behind the starting line.
There is an ADA porta-pot unit available in the parking lot by the race start. We rent this unit for each race as there are no park bathrooms available.

Registration: You MUST register online if you want to be chip timed. If you DO NOT want to be timed, you do not need to register. Only registered participants will be eligible for prizes and giveaways. Once you register, you are automatically assigned a bib number. You can access that bib number in your dashboard under your upcoming races tab. Please be prepared to show your bib number via your phone, a screenshot of it or you can print out the page before you arrive. Race results are loaded back up into your dashboard and you can also view the results on www.runhoustontiming.net

Other important race information: This race is on a public park trail and is not closed for our specific use. Please share the trail and be aware of other park users. We are a family friendly event and jogging strollers are allowed. Please be aware that this race is weather dependent. We are a free race that sets up the day of the race. We do hold the race in light rain but not heavy rain. We try to make the call if the event is to be cancelled by 5am the morning of the race, sooner if we can.
